Barely There
Keeps you guessing until the very end. Well written adventure. Nice banter between Sam and Ace. Easy read. Hated for it to end but a great whodunit.
I really liked this book, especially the characters. I found their give and take entertaining as I was drawn deeper into the story. The mystery kept me guessing from beginning to end. Every time I thought I knew who did it, something else happened that made me suspect someone else. I’ve read every Evanovich book and liked them all. But Sam Summers is a better heroine than Stephanie Plum.
A believable look inside major league sports in a thriller with lots of humor thrown in. The author goes in depth in relationships.
I enjoy reading fictional crime books, and this one had me guessing until the end. The characters in this book are exciting people you wish you knew in real life. I read the book non-stop because I couldn’t put it down. A well-written must read!
I’m a fan of witty banter between mystery-solving partners. Samantha Summers and Chancy Evans are among the best I’ve ever read. The mystery was compelling. The give and take between the protagonists was great. I’m a fan and can’t wait to read the next book.
I love mysterious. Usually I can pick who is the bad guy but not this book. I couldn’t put this story down til it was done. A must read .
